The Khoridol Saridag range is a mountain range with a total length of about 150 km, located in the territory of Khövsgöl province in the northern part of Mongolia. The Khoridol Saridag range is located between Lake Khövsgöl and the Darkhad depression, and covers the territories of Rinchinlkhümbe, Ulaan-Uul, and Alag-Erdene soums of the province. The highest peak of this range is Delgerkhaan mountain, elevated at 3188 m above sea level. Besides Delgerkhaan mountain, there are peaks known by many such as Ikh Uul (2920 m) and Uran Dosh mountain (2702 m). Along the base of the Khoridol Saridag range, meaning the lake shore, it is rich in phosphorite, and open-pit exploration work was done on a wide scope in the 1980s. Due to political and economic changes occurring in the 1990s, joint Russian and Mongolian project teams stopped the work of establishing a deposit here. In 1997, 1886 $km^2$ of land in this area was made into a strictly protected area.
