Liability Waiver: Panda Travel shall not assume liability for any personal injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies that occur during the tour, particularly during high-risk activities like horseback or camel riding. Travelers must strictly follow all safety briefings and instructions provided by the tour guide.
Itinerary Changes: The planned itinerary is highly subject to adjustment based on unpredictable weather conditions, natural factors, or unavoidable road blockages.
Flight Schedules & Start/End Times:
Early Arrival: If your flight lands early in the morning, the tour can commence as early as 05:00 AM.
Afternoon/Late Arrival: If your flight lands in the afternoon or evening, you will spend the night in Ulaanbaatar, and the tour will officially depart the following morning at 08:00 AM.
Tour Conclusion: The tour wraps up to match your departure flight, typically arriving back in Ulaanbaatar between 15:00 and 17:00 on the final day.
Delays & Scheduling: Daily schedules and arrival times at camps may shift or run late due to extended meal times, unpredictable road conditions, and frequent rest or restroom stops along the remote routes.
Gobi Desert/Remote Area Power & Water Constraints: Unlike central regions, infrastructure in the southern Gobi and deep wilderness zones is limited. Tourist camps often operate on generators and local water reserves, meaning electricity and hot water will only be available during designated hours (e.g., between 18:00 and 22:00).
Non-Refundable Cancellations on the Trail: No refunds or price adjustments will be issued if a traveler decides to cancel, shorten, or alter any part of the tour after the journey has already commenced.

Itinerary

Day 1

Meet your tour guide, receive a general trip briefing, and begin the journey. Head towards Zorgol Khairkhan Mountain (150 km from Ulaanbaatar) in the Gobi gateway zone. Please prepare suitable footwear and clothing for mountain climbing. After the day's activities, set up camp and enjoy a wild dinner by the bonfire

Day 2

Have breakfast, pack up the camp, and hit the road. Stop by the center of Dundgovi Province to restock on groceries and essential supplies. Arrive at Ikh Gazriin Chuluu National Park for free time (rock climbing, photography, etc.).

Day 3

Ikh Gazriin Chuluu to Tsagaan Suvarga. Pack up after breakfast. Drive through the center of Dundgovi Province to have lunch and restock on supplies. Arrive at the tourist camp to take a shower and change, then head to Tsagaan Suvarga (3 km from the camp) for photography and leisure. Return to the camp for dinner.

Day 4

Tsagaan Suvarga to Yolyn Am. Enjoy breakfast and prepare for departure. Stop by the center of Umnugovi Province for lunch and shopping. Head to the Gurvan Saikhan National Park. Enjoy a 2-hour trek through the canyon—either on foot or horseback (Note: If horse queues are too long, we will hike on foot). This protected area sits at 2,800m above sea level and is home to Bearded Vultures (Yol), Argali sheep, and Ibex.

Day 5

Yolyn Am to Khongoryn Els. Have breakfast and pack up. Take photos on the asphalt road (this area has almost no traffic, making it perfect for photos). Drive through Bayandalai soum for lunch and supplies. Arrive at the sand dunes, ride two-humped Bactrian camels, and climb the dunes to witness a stunning desert sunset.

Day 6

Khongoryn Els to Bayanzag. After breakfast, prepare to depart for Bayanzag (The Flaming Cliffs), the cradle of dinosaur discoveries. Stop by Bulgan soum for lunch, then check into the camp. Head to the cliffs closer to evening to catch the sunset glow.

Day 7

Bayanzag to Ongi Monastery. Have breakfast and head towards the historical ruins of a massive 17th-century monastery complex. Arrive at the tourist camp located on the banks of the Ongi River. Spend your free time relaxing and enjoying fun activities like swimming in the river.

How to Confirm Your Booking:

Send your arrival/departure flight details, total number of group members, and chosen tour package to Panda Travel via KakaoTalk.
After consulting with your dedicated tour manager, a 10% non-refundable deposit of the total tour cost must be transferred to secure and finalize your dates.
The remaining 90% balance must be paid in cash (USD) upon your arrival in Mongolia. Please ensure your USD bills are crisp, new, and unblemished.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation prior to the tour start date, refunds are processed based on the notice period given below:
30 to 25 days before departure: 100% refund of the total amount (excluding non-refundable bank transfer fees).
15 to 10 days before departure: 70% refund of the total amount.
7 to 5 days before departure: 40% refund of the total amount.
Within 5 days of departure: No refund is applicable.

Entire journey on the river cruise was amazing. This is the first such cruise dinner for my family. We loved everything, right from table organising, food, music and the hospitality. Kudos to the entire team !
